Digital Art

 Today in Hub Mako for manaiakalani we got famous paintings and repainted them. The painting I remade was The Great Wave by Katsushika Hokusai. 

I found it easy to Pick the colors I needed to make my digital art. I found it hard to Finish the art because this painting had many different small details which the art pieces on the app didn't have. I really enjoyed coloring in the art. Next time I need to work faster because I only had a couple minutes left till the end of the day.

YEAR 7 ADVICE WITH COOL KID CARLOS!

 Today in Hub Mako we created advise for us next year or the year 6's that will become year 7 sevens next year. We were either in pairs or writing the advice by our selves I paired up with one of my friends Noah.

What Is Media?

 

In Hub Mako for maniakalni we had to pair up and make a google slide or drawing about media or advertising something Noah and I did both.

As Aerodynamic As A... Pig? (NOT CLICKBAIT)

 

For maniakalani today in Hub Mako we had to create a fake news article. Hunter and I this article about a lobster being as aerodynamic pig. I found it easy to find the images we needed to get. I found it hard to choose the topic we were going to write about.  I really enjoyed Creating the article. Next time I need to work faster because I didn't have a description for the writing when I posted it because I was rushing to get ready for the end of school. Hope you like it!

Tonui Collab: Collect The Blobs!

Hub Mako from Gisborne Intermediate went to Tonui (Mindlab). We created our very own arcade game! We used Makecode Arcade, we had 4 sessions at tonui over four weeks, it was very fun creating the game, testing the game and playing with game that our classmates made! READ BEFORE PLAYING MY GAME - (my game is beatable it's very easy once you've found the secret).

I found it easy to Follow the instructions given to me and create my game.

I found it hard to post the game to my blog because we found out that you couldn't embed the game to the post so we had to put the link in.

I really enjoyed Creating my game with Makecode Arcade.

Next time I need to mabey work a bit faster with posting my game to my blog.

My Scratch Game Remix!

We were learning about making our own remix of a game on scratch.

I found it easy to edit and remix the game.

I found it hard to Find the html because I have the new version of blogger and had a bit of trouble at the start with the answers.

I really enjoyed remixing the game.

Next time I need to mabey work a bit faster.

Covid Reflection

We were learning to Use Wevideo and Screencastify to create upload and post to our blog.

The most challenging part was Timing  the videos and recording the videos because we're using our chromebook outside.

 The easiest part of this task was editing the videos.

Next time I will use a tablet, or phone to record the video.

A bit late but because we're around ANZAC day Hub Mako is obviously doing a lot of ANZAC themed work this is one of the many ANZAC work we're doing.

We were learning about being safe online and being cybersmart.

I found it easy to almost everything that we did. 

I found it hard to polyline my character.

I really enjoyed everything and I found this really fun.
